Provided are a stator of a motor that can reduce loss occurring in a motor and contribute to a highly efficient motor, and a motor comprising this stator. The stator comprises a stator iron core (13) formed from a stack of a plurality of plate-shaped members (130). The stator iron core (13) comprises a cylindrical yoke (11), and teeth (12) having extending parts (123) extending radially inward from the yoke (11) and widening parts (122) formed at the tips of the extending parts (123) so as to widen in the circumferential direction. The extending parts (123) have constant-width parts (124) extending linearly in the radial direction so that the widths thereof in the circumferential direction are constant, narrowing parts (121) having narrower widths in the circumferential direction than the constant-width parts (124), and clamps (125) for fixing the plate-shaped members together. The clamps (125) are provided to the constant-width parts (124).
