Abstract:
Provided are a stator that can inhibit reduction in torque and a rotary electric machine provided with the stator. A stator (2) is provided with a stator core (20), an insulator (4), and a coil (5). The stator core has an annular yoke (21) and a plurality of teeth (22) that protrude from the yoke (21) toward the inner side of the yoke (21). An insulator (4) covers at least a part of the stator core (20). The insulator (4) has a first surface (41) that faces the coil (5) wound around the teeth (22) and a second surface (42) that faces the yoke (21). The first surface (41) is perpendicular to the projection direction of the teeth (22). The second surface (42) includes a first perpendicular surface (421) that is perpendicular to the projection direction of the teeth (22) and includes a first bent surface (422) that is bent toward the first surface (41) side relative to the first perpendicular surface (421). The yoke (21) has an inner circumferential surface (211) that faces the second surface (42).
