Abstract:
In order to provide a stator for a rotary machine that enables the size of the coil ends to be reduced and enables the use of a plurality of voltages without having to change the winding arrangement, the present invention comprises: a stator core (12) having a plurality of slots (14) provided along the circumferential direction; segments (22) that are made of flat wire and housed in the slots (14); and a distributed winding formed by arranging unit coils (21) in the circumferential direction of the stator core (12), the unit coils being made up of a plurality of the segments (22) arranged along the radial direction. The unit coils (21) are formed by connecting segments (22) that are arranged alternately and coaxially in the radial direction at a plurality of slot intervals that are different from one another.
