Abstract:
Proposed is a stay that makes it possible to more diversely adjust assist force. This stay comprises: a first arm (2) that is rotatably connected to one of a body (101) and a door (102); and a second arm (3) that is rotatably connected at one end part to the first arm (2) and is rotatably connected at the other end part to the other of the body (101) and the door (102). The first arm (2) has: an elastic body (8); a slider (7) that is urged toward the second arm (3) by the elastic body (8); a case (4) that supports the slider (7) such that the slider (7) can slide toward the second arm (3); a pressing part (9) that is pressed against a cam surface (3d) of the second arm (3) by the slider (7); and an adjustment mechanism (10) that changes the location at which the pressing part (9) is pressed against the cam surface (3d) in a direction that intersects the sliding direction of the slider (7) and the direction of the rotational axis of the second arm (3).
