Abstract:
A steam generation device (3) is disposed on the lower portion of a side wall of a heating chamber (2). A steam injection unit (14) is disposed on the side wall of the heating chamber (2) above the steam generation device (3) so as to be at a distance from the steam generation device (3). Thus, even if boiling over occurs within a water storage portion (9) of the steam generation device (3), and even if boiling water is ejected from a steam supply port (16) into a steam supply tube (18), the boiling water is prevented from entering the steam injection unit (14). Therefore, a heated spot tends not to occur if the boiling water is applied to an object (6) to be heated within the heating chamber (2). Further, a body portion (12) of a steam generation unit (10) has a simple structure wherein there are no protrusions within the water storage portion (9). Therefore, if the body portion is formed by metal die casting, a simple molding die can be used, and the cost is not increased. Further, the steam generation unit (10) has a simple structure as described above. Therefore, scale tends not to accumulate within the water storage portion (9), and even if scale accumulates, the scale can be easily removed.
