Abstract:
A steam supply mechanism for a boiler iron and the boiler iron, i.e. an accessory for iron and a boiler iron with it. The problem of a single means of steam supply can be solved by the mechanism which has a sliding valve provided with three work positions. The valve body is provided with a steam inlet and with a first steam outlet and a second steam outlet which are positioned on each side of the inlet respectively. One end of a valve rod of the sliding valve is fixed with a valve plug in the valve body, and the other end of the valve rod passes through an opening at a top part of the valve body and extends outwards. When the valve rod is positioned in the first work position, the valve plug blocks between the first steam outlet and the inlet so that the second steam outlet is communicated with the inlet through the interior space of the valve body. When the valve rod is positioned in the second work position, the valve plug blocks between the second steam outlet and the inlet so that the first steam outlet is communicated with the inlet through the interior space of the valve body. When the valve rod is positioned in the third work position, the valve plug is positioned outside the first and second steam outlets and the inlet so that the first and second steam outlets are communicated with the inlet through the interior space of the valve body.
