Abstract:
The steam trap of the present invention for quickly removing condensed water, which is steam condensation generated in a steam piping system, stably supplies good-quality steam to equipment. Provided is development of an orifice-type steam trap having a function for adjusting the discharged amount of condensed water or the open area of an orifice so as not to reduce the steam pressure of piping during discharge of condensed water. The present invention is an orifice-type steam trap, wherein a structure is employed having a level difference between an inlet-side steam piping shaft and an outlet-side steam piping shaft, thereby providing a structure in which condensed water or foreign matter can be selectively discharged and the discharged amount of condensed water and the open area of an orifice can be adjusted by a handle operation from the outside.
