A steam treatment device applied to a steam cooking utensil, being configured to cooperate with a steam cooking utensil body; the steam cooking utensil body comprises a sealed box body (1), a heating device provided in the box body (1), a water inlet passage and a water outlet passage in communication with the box body (1), and a steam exhaust port for discharging steam; characterized in that, the steam treatment device comprises a steam condensing device provided outside of the box body (1) and in communication with the steam exhaust port, a water outlet of the steam condensing device being in communication with the inside of the box body (1) to reuse condensed water, or being in communication with the outside of the steam cooking utensil to discharge condensed water; alternatively the steam cooking utensil further comprises a recovery water tank which fits the steam cooking utensil body and is independent of the steam cooking utensil body, the water outlet of the steam condensing device being in communication with the inside of the recovery water tank.
