Abstract:
The invention relates to a steel box girder bridge having girders, each of which comprises: webs arranged on the left and right sides with a predetermined spacing therebetween; an upper flange horizontally arranged between the tops of the webs; and a lower flange horizontally arranged between the bottoms of the webs. When the girders are placed on the bridge, the bridge is divided into a positive moment section and a negative moment section in accordance with a positive bending moment and a negative bending moment occurring in the girders, and spans are the same in the lengthwise direction of the bridge. A 0.08L to 0.16L area extending over two spans, measured sideways from the center of a support part of the upper flange in the negative moment section of the steel box girder bridge, has a closed sectional surface. The upper flange in the negative moment section and the upper flange in the positive moment section, excluding said closed sectional surface of the upper flange in the negative moment section, are formed into an open cross-sectional surface to which a truss horizontal bracing is attached. Concrete is applied to a 0.16L to 0.32L area extending over two spans, measured sideways from the center of a support part of the lower flange in the negative moment.
