Abstract:
A steel cable nailing machine and a steel cable nailing method. The steel cable nailing machine comprises the following components provided on a frame: an upper die (1) and a lower die (2) for holding a steel cable; an upper die opening and closing mechanism for controlling operation of the upper die (1); a pin cartridge (3) for holding rows of steel pins; a triggering mechanism for triggering nailing of the steel pins (18) into the steel cable (19); and a pin head turning mechanism for changing a direction of the pin head of the steel pin (18) nailed to the steel cable (19). The pin cartridge (3), the triggering mechanism, and the pin head turning mechanism are all provided on the lower die (2). In the steel cable nailing machine and nailing method, a series of mechanized operations such as cable pressing, positioning, nailing, and pin head turning are performed, thereby continuously nailing a steel cable and turning pin heads, meeting requirements of automated production of steel cable pusher discs and allowing produced steel cable pusher discs to have a long service life and a delivery length of 300 to 600 meters, and to meet requirements of feed delivery systems of farming enterprises.
