Abstract:
Provided are: a steel cord capable of reducing hysteresis loss that occurs during use of rubber products due to embedded steel cords; and a conveyor belt in which said steel cord has been embedded as the carcass. A rubber-reinforcing steel cord (1) to be embedded in a rubber product is configured as a stranded structure in which multiple side strands (3) are intertwined on the outer circumferential surface of a core strand (2) and a lubricant (8) is filled between the element wires (2a) that configure the core strand (2).
