Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a steel cord-rubber composite that has superior adhesion to a steel cord and that is capable of minimizing a decrease in modulus even in a case where a rubber composition constituting a covering rubber does not contain a cobalt salt. This steel cord-rubber composite is characterized in that a steel cord is covered by a rubber composition formulated with an organic acid metal salt containing at most 10 mass% free acid.
