Abstract:
A steel ladle flow control device for preventing molten steel solidification, comprising an upper nozzle (1) fixed to the bottom of a steel ladle and a lower nozzle (2) fixed to a lower sliding plate (3). The upper surface of the lower sliding plate (3) is slidably connected to the bottom face of the upper nozzle (1), so that the lower nozzle (2) can be transversely movably connected to the upper nozzle (1) in a butt joint mode or in a staggered mode. A pouring hole of the upper nozzle (1) is in a horn shape having a large upper opening and a small lower opening, and a slope angle of the pouring hole ranges from 50° to 80°; the upper nozzle (1) and the lower sliding plate (3) are both of a hollow structure, heat insulation cavities (10) are formed therein, and the thickness of each heat insulation cavity (10) is not less than 20 mm. Molten steel enters the horn-opening-shaped steel ladle upper nozzle (1), and the molten steel in the nozzle can be kept in a liquid state under a heat preservation effect of the upper nozzle (1) and a heat insulation layer of the lower sliding plate (3) and a supplement effect of heat of the high-temperature molten steel on the upper portion of the upper nozzle (1), and the problem that the molten steel is solidified to block the steel ladle nozzle, resulting in that the molten steel cannot be automatically cast is solved, and the problems of secondary pollution and the like caused by the use of fire-resistant stuffing sand are avoided.
