Abstract:
Provided is a steel material having excellent SSC resistance. A steel material according to the present disclosure has a chemical composition comprising, in terms of mass%: at most 0.035% of C; at most 1.00% of Si; at most 1.00% of Mn; at most 0.030% of P; at most 0.0050% of S; 0.005-0.100% of sol. Al; 0.001-0.020% of N; 5.00-7.50% of Ni; 10.00-14.00% of Cr; at least 0.01% and less than 1.50% of Cu; 1.50-3.50% of Mo; 0.01-1.00% of V; 0.02-0.30% of Ti; 0.01-0.50% of Co; 0.0003-0.0030% of Ca; at most 0.0050% of O; 0-1.50% of W; 0-0.50% of Nb; 0-0.0050% of B; 0-0.0050% of Mg; and 0-0.020% of a rare earth element (REM), with the balance consisting of Fe and impurities. The total amount of a Mn sulfide having a circle-equivalent diameter of 1.0 μm or more and a Ca sulfide having a circle-equivalent diameter of 2.0 μm or more is 0.50 particles/mm2 or less.
