Disclosed are a steel plate quality assurance system and equipment therefor for a steel plate manufacturing line. Concretely, the steel plate quality assurance system and equipment therefor accomplish quality assurance by measuring the temperature of at least the entire top surface of the steel plate or the entire bottom surface of the steel plate on a steel plate manufacturing line, which is equipped with a finishing mill and an accelerated cooling device that is disposed on the downstream side of the aforementioned finishing mill in the direction of travel of the steel plate manufacturing line. The steel plate quality assurance system is equipped with a temperature measurement means, a temperature analysis means, and a quality judgment means. The aforementioned temperature measurement means has a thermometer that is disposed on at least the upstream side or downstream side of the aforementioned finishing mill, and/or at least on the upstream side or downstream side of the aforementioned accelerated cooling device, and a temperature acquisition means that acquires the temperatures measured by the aforementioned thermometer(s). The aforementioned temperature analysis means creates a temperature MAP of the entire steel plate surface from the temperatures acquired by the aforementioned temperature acquisition means, and the aforementioned quality judgment means estimates the quality characteristics of the entire steel plate surface from the aforementioned temperature MAP and thereby judges the acceptance or rejection thereof.
