Abstract:
A steel section according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: 0.08-0.17 wt% of carbon (C); 0.50-1.60 wt% of manganese (Mn); 0.10-0.50 wt% of silicon (Si); 0.10-0.70 wt% of chromium (Cr); greater than 0 wt% and less than or equal to 0.5 wt% of copper (Cu); 0.30-0.70 wt% of molybdenum (Mo); greater than 0 wt% and less than or equal to 0.02 wt% of phosphorus (P); greater than 0 wt% and less than or equal to 0.01 wt% of sulfur (S); greater than 0 wt% and less than or equal to 0.012 wt% of nitrogen (N); greater than 0 wt% and less than or equal to 0.003 wt% of boron (B); 0.01-0.5 wt% of the combined amount of at least any one selected from nickel (Ni), vanadium (V), niobium (Nb), and titanium (Ti); and the remainder of iron (Fe) and other inevitable impurities, the steel section having at room temperature a tensile strength of 490-620 MPa, a yield strength of 355 MPa or greater, and a yield ratio of 0.8 or less, and having a high-temperature yield strength at 600 °C of 273 MPa or greater.
