Abstract:
This steel sheet for a container comprises: a steel sheet; a composite plating layer, as an upper layer of said steel sheet, that includes 2.0-200 mg/m2 of Ni in terms of metallic Ni amount and 0.10-10.0 g/m2 of Sn in terms of metallic Sn amount, wherein an island-shaped Sn layer is formed on an Fe-Ni-Sn alloy layer; a metallic Ni plating layer, as an upper layer of said composite plating layer, that includes 1.0-2000 mg/m2 of Ni in terms of metallic Ni amount; and a chemically converted coating film layer, as an upper layer of said metallic Ni plating layer, that includes 0.010-150 mg/m2 of a Zr compound in terms of metallic Zr amount, and 0.010-80 mg/m2 of a phosphate compound in terms of P amount.
