Abstract:
As a result of having a component composition containing, in mass%, C: greater than 0.006% to 0.012%, Si: 0.02% or less, Mn: 0.10% to 0.60%, P: 0.020% or less, S: 0.020% or less, Al: 0.01% to 0.07%, and N: 0.0080% to 0.0200%, the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities, and the percentage of regions at the ½ sheet thickness position in which the dislocation density is 1×1014 m-2 or less being greater than 0% and less than 20%, the present invention provides a steel sheet for crown caps with which crown caps can be produced with excellent moldability and excellent pressure resistance strength, even when thinned and without using an expensive soft liner.
