Abstract:
A steering device according to the present invention comprises: a steering input device that has a reaction force actuator for applying steering reaction force to a steering operation input member; and a control device that has a steering gear ratio change unit for changing the steering gear ratio in accordance with vehicle speed, that has a reaction force actuator control unit for controlling the output amount of the reaction force actuator in accordance with the operation angular velocity of the steering operation input member, and that has a reaction force actuator output amount change unit for changing the output amount of the reaction force actuator on the basis of the steering gear ratio. It is thus possible to appropriately set the steering reaction force applied to the steering operation input member and to stably suppress the burden of operation on a driver.
