Abstract:
A steering apparatus (2) provided with: an electroconductive steering shaft (3) for transmitting steering force; an electroconductive outer column (10) for supporting the steering shaft (3) in a rotatable manner; an electroconductive inner column (11) that fits within the outer column (10) so as to be capable of relative rotation in the axial direction, and, together with the outer column (10), supports the steering shaft (3) in a rotatable manner; an electroconductive bracket (12) for holding the outer column (10), said bracket (12) being fastened to the vehicle body; and an electroconductive energizing lead that constitutes part of the energizing path from the inner column (11) to the vehicle body.
