Abstract:
A position prediction unit (57, S107) calculates, on the basis of a map, a prediction position which represents a position of a vehicle on the map at a specific time point subsequent to the current time point. An assist calculation unit (59, S109) calculates an assist control amount for a steering operation on the basis of the road shape at the prediction position that can be identified from the map. An operation amount acquisition unit (55, S201, S301, S401) acquires an operation amount for a steering operation. An adjustment unit (60, 601-607, S202, S203, S302-S307, S402-S408) adjusts the assist control amount in accordance with the operation amount.
