A steering column assembly comprises: a mounting bracket having a pair of arms facing each other; a steering column provided so as to pass between the pair of arms in a state in which the steering column can tilt with respect to the mounting bracket; and a locking unit formed to be in a locked state or an unlocked state such that a tilting behavior of the steering column is selectively allowed by applying clamping force to the pair of arms. The locking unit includes: a tilting bolt provided to pass through the pair of arms, thereby being rotatable between the locked state and the unlocked state; and an auxiliary locking structure which is formed so as to operate by linking with the rotation of the tilting bolt and which is for remedying a tilt locking function of the steering column in a locked state. The auxiliary locking structure includes: fixed teeth provided at the arms; and movable locking teeth formed to move in correspondence with the rotation of the tilting bolt, and formed so as to engage with the fixed teeth in the locked state.
