Abstract:
This steering control device is provided with: an electric motor for applying auxiliary power to the steering of a steering wheel; a torque sensor 109 for detecting the steering torque of the steering wheel; a standard target current setting unit for setting the standard driving force of the electric motor on the basis of the steering torque detected by the torque sensor 109; and an addition determination unit 222 for determining whether to increase the driving force from the standard driving force on the basis of the rotation speed of the electric motor.
