Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a steering control device which is capable of transmitting an appropriate reactive force to a driver via a steering wheel and which makes it possible to improve the stability of a vehicle. A steering control device 100 for controlling a reactive force actuator 16 that causes a reactive force to operation by a driver to be produced in a steering wheel 13 of a vehicle 10. The steering control device 100 increases the reactive force in a nonlinear region, in which the cornering force characteristic, i.e. the relationship between the slip angle and the lateral force, of a tire 11 of the vehicle 10 is nonlinear, over the reactive force in a linear region, in which the cornering force characteristic is linear.
