Abstract:
In this steering control device, a first circuit (68) electrifies a steering assist actuator (800) that electrically assists steering by a driver. Second circuits (672, 673) and the first circuit (68) are provided inside the same housing (600), and the second circuits electrify one or more positional actuators (720, 730) that move the position of a steering. A control unit (30) operates the first circuit (68) and the second circuits (672, 673) and controls operation of the steering assist actuator (800) and the positional actuators (720, 730). In a plurality of periods such as a start-up period, a normal operation period, and a stop period of the steering control device, the control unit (30) changes a "priority" that is one or more among: an order in which the first circuit and the second circuits are operated; and the distribution of outputs of the first circuit and the second circuits, or the magnitudes of the outputs.
