Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a steering device with improved vibration absorption performance capable of being employed in C-MDPS which require particularly high torques, wherein an intermediate shaft (I-shaft) is made from a high damping alloy such that sufficient rigidity can be obtained while preventing the decrease in response performance with respect to steering by using the vibration absorption performance of the high damping alloy. In addition, another objective of the present invention is to provide a steering device with improved vibration absorption performance, wherein an intermediate shaft (I-shaft) can be made from a high damping alloy such that the steering device can be directly employed in different types of vehicles having various shapes, the manufacture of the steering device is simple, and particularly, manufacturing costs of the steering device are reduced when compared to the use of copper or aluminum materials
