Abstract:
A steering device (1) is provided with: a steering input shaft (3) having attached thereto a steering member (2); a movable part (4) that has attached thereto the steering input shaft (3) and that is capable of reciprocating in the front-rear direction of a vehicle (100); a holding part (5) that reciprocally holds the movable part (4); and a support part (6) that supports one end (51) of the holding part (5) at the front side of the vehicle (100) and presses the one end (51) downwardly upon collision of the vehicle (100). In the holding part (5), a portion rearwardly separated from the one end (51) is rotatably supported on the vehicle (100).
