Abstract:
Provided is a device that acquires information pertaining to vehicle occupant steering that is required to ascertain the behavior of a saddled vehicle during travel. A steering input information acquisition device 10 is provided with a driving input information acquisition unit 101 and an operation input information acquisition unit 102. The driving input information acquisition unit 101 acquires information pertaining to driving input imparted to the saddled vehicle by the vehicle occupant. The driving input is input that causes vehicle behavior in the saddled vehicle. The information pertaining to the driving input from the vehicle occupant includes information pertaining to the posture of the vehicle occupant, information pertaining to reactive force the vehicle occupant receives from the saddled vehicle, and information pertaining to muscle activity of the vehicle occupant. The operation input information acquisition unit 102 acquires information pertaining to operation input imparted by the vehicle occupant to an operator of the saddled vehicle. The operation input is input that causes vehicle behavior in the saddled vehicle. The operation input information acquisition unit 102, on the basis of the information obtained from the driving input information acquisition unit 101 and the information obtained from the operation input information acquisition unit 102, acquires information pertaining to steering input imparted by the vehicle occupant to the saddled vehicle.
