Abstract:
A steering lock device (1) is provided with: a lock guide hole (23) penetrating through a frame (2); a lock body (62) having a tapered front end and provided so as to be movable between a locking position and an unlocking position which are set within the lock guide hole (23); and an eaves section (61g) protruding to the inside of the lock guide hole (23) and provided further toward the unlocking position side than the engagement section (62d) of the lock body (62) located at the locking position. When the lock body (62) falls within the lock guide hole (23) in the direction of rotation of the steering shaft while the lock body (62) is located at the locking position, the engagement section (62d) engages with the eaves section (61g) to prevent the lock body (62) from moving to the unlocking position side.
