Abstract:
Disclosed are steering locking devices (1, 1A, 1B, 1C) that are each provided with a first plane (B) which is parallel to the axial direction of a steering shaft; a second plane (C) which is perpendicular to the first plane (B); a locking member (6) which comprises a protrusion (62) projecting from the second plane (C); and a sliding plate (91) which is provided in such a way as to extend from the first plane (B) in the plate thickness direction (D) of the locking member (6), which is disposed outward from the first plane (B), and which engages with the protrusion (62).
