Abstract:
Provided is a steering module that is used in a vehicle and provided with a steering function for steering a wheel, wherein the versatility of the steering module can be improved while the steering module is made in a compact size. This steering module comprises: a vehicle body attachment part that includes a steering shaft part; a main body part; a steering motor unit; and a control device. The main body part is disposed so as to swing with respect to steering shaft part. A wheel support part is disposed so as to rotate with respect to the main body part. The steering motor unit includes a first fixed body and a first rotary body and steers the wheel by causing the main body part to swing due to an output torque. The control device is electrically connected to the first fixed body of the steering motor unit and controls the steering motor unit. The first fixed body and the control device are supported by the main body part. At least respective portions of the first fixed body, the control device, and the steering shaft part are disposed so as to overlap the wheel as seen in the extending direction of the rotational center axis of the wheel support part.
