Abstract:
A steering torque estimation device that estimates steering torque in a vehicle that has a front wheel as a steering wheel and turns in a banked state in which the vehicle body is inclined around a front/rear axis, said steering torque being caused by vehicle body behavior and being applied to a steering shaft. The steering torque estimation device comprises a torque estimation unit that estimates steering torque on the basis of: temporal change in vehicle body banking angle; and front wheel rotation speed.
