Abstract:
[Problem] To enable improvement of work efficiency when joining divided rim sections without reducing the strength of a wheel rim unit. [Solution] A wheel rim unit 20 is configured from a joined body produced by connecting both circumferential ends of a substantially semi-circular divided rim 22 and a substantially semi-circular divided rim 26 together in an overlapping manner, said substantially semi-circular divided rim 22 being disposed on the front side of a vehicle and having a substantially U-shaped cross-section for at least the front connection parts 24 on both ends, and said substantially semi-circular divided rim 26 being disposed on the rear side of the vehicle and having a substantially I-shaped cross-section for at least the rear connection parts 28 on both ends. With divided rim 22, a spoke unit 30, and divided rim 26 being overlapped in a predetermined order starting from the outer peripheral side toward the inner peripheral side in the radial direction, divided rim 22, the spoke unit 30, and divided rim 26 are fastened together using radially penetrating rivets 14.
