Abstract:
[Problem] To create a structure for a steering wheel counterforce application device that allows for a compact configuration. [Solution] Two-stage gears 3a, 3b comprise: an intermediate shaft 9 disposed in parallel with a steering shaft 1; first teeth 10 that are disposed on the intermediate shaft 9 and enmesh with shaft-side teeth 4 on the steering shaft 1; and second teeth 11 that are disposed on a portion of the intermediate shaft 9 which is closer to an electric motor 2 side than the first teeth 10, and enmesh with motor-side teeth 8 on the electric motor 2.
