Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a steering wheel provided with a damper unit having an excellent vibration absorbing effect. [Solution] This steering wheel is provided with a core metal member, an air bag module which contains an air bag cushion and an inflator and which is connected to the core metal member, and a damper unit which is disposed between the core metal member and the air bag module. The damper unit is provided with: a cushioning member comprising an elastic material; an upper section support member which supports the cushioning member from above; and a lower section support member which supports the cushioning member from below. The cushioning member has a laterally protruding flange section, and has a structure in which the flange section is gripped between the upper section support member and the lower section support member. Gaps are formed between the upper section support member and/or the lower section support member, and the flange section.
