Abstract:
The present invention relates to a stemware holder (1) suitable for use in dishwashers, comprising two stemware holding units (5) that are attached to each other at a junction area (4) such that one can move with respect to the other and that have a plurality of holding elements (2) that are arranged side by side and that grasp the stem of the stemware when a stemware is placed thereon and a support element (3) against which the rim of the stemware bears when the stem of the stemware is placed on the holding element (2), the stemware holder (1) further comprising a closed position (K) where the stemware holding units (5) rotate at the junction area (4) and move close to each other and an open position (A) where the stemware holding units (5) move away from each other so as to be suitable for placing stemware thereon.
