Abstract:
A stencil mask for a solar cell according to the present invention is for forming a front electrode pattern of a solar cell having no bar electrodes, and finger electrode openings of adjacent rows or columns are arranged so as to be out of alignment from each other. Moreover, the width of each finger electrode opening may be wider the closer same is to a finger electrode opening for a finger electrode that is to be connected to a ribbon, or, in each column of finger electrode openings, the finger electrode openings to the left and right thereof can be arranged so as to alternate. Due to such arrangements, the front electrodes of the solar cell can be properly connected to a ribbon which is to act as a bus bar. Due to a design which accounts for the characteristics of the stencil technique, the supporting capacity of the stencil mask can be improved, connectivity of the finger electrodes, which must be printed by means of the restraining finger electrode openings, can be enhanced, and mobility of the current collected from the finger electrodes can be improved to thus minimize loss of current.
