The present invention relates to a stent to be inserted into the blood vessel of a human body to expand the blood vessel. A plurality of cells wherein a cell is a unit connected to one another so as to form a line, and the lines cross one another in an axisymmetric manner so as to form a body having a longitudinally hollow shape. Therefore, it is possible to minimize the longitudinal deformation of the stent according to the degree of radial expansion with respect to the cavity of the stent and the radial flexibility and longitudinal flexibility of the stent are improved, and thus it is possible to provide a stent for expanding a blood vessel, which minimizes the damage of blood vessel walls when the stent is inserted into the blood vessel of the human body and has excellent performance.
