Abstract:
A stent 1 for in-vivo indwelling comprises: a plurality of annular bodies 2 which are formed in an annular shape from linear constituent components, and which are disposed in the axial direction; and a linking part 3 for linking the annular bodies disposed adjacent to each other. The annular bodies 2 have connecting linear parts 23, 24 that link one end-side bend section 21 and another end-side bend section 22. One of the connecting linear parts of the annular bodies 2 positioned towards the center of the stent comprises: an axial direction linear section 25 that has, as a starting end, one end-side vertex 21a of the one end-side bend section, and that extends in parallel with the axial direction of the stent 1; and a fold section 26 that has a starting end at a terminating end 25a of the axial direction linear section, and that extends in the circumferential direction of the stent 1. The linking part 3 connects the terminating end of the axial direction linear section to the one end-side vertex of an annular body adjacent to the axial direction linear section on another end side.
