Abstract:
A step-down DC-DC converter is to be provided which is resistant to a common mode noise and is capable of producing a low-voltage DC output voltage from a high-voltage DC input voltage without being significantly limited with respect to a main transistor to be used and a driving circuit thereof, the on-off frequency of the main transistor and the like. The step-down DC-DC converter has a DC power supply, a main switching element having a drain terminal connected to a positive electrode side of the DC power supply, an inductance element having one end connected to a source terminal of the main switching element, a first capacitor connected between the inductance element and a negative electrode side of the DC power supply, a first diode connected in parallel to a series circuit constituted by the inductance element and the first capacitor between the source terminal of the main switching element and the negative electrode side of the DC power supply, a resistance element having one end connected to the positive electrode side and the drain terminal of the main switching element, a second capacitor connected between the resistance element on one side and the source terminal of the main switching element and a cathode terminal of the first diode on the other, a control circuit for controlling on-off control action of the main switching element, and a second diode having an anode terminal connected to a connection point between the inductance element and the first capacitor and having a cathode terminal connected to a connection point between the resistance element and the second capacitor.
