Abstract:
A ladder (1, 2), generally flexible and of strong material, can be hoisted, by means of a halyard, the length of the mast of a sailing boat; the ladder can be constructed in various lengths. The ladder may have a traction point (4) at the top and another traction point (3, 5) at the base to keep the ladder (1, 2) taut; the base traction point (3, 5) may be fixed to the ladder at variable distances; the ladder (1, 2) can be fastened to the mast by means of guy copes (6). After use, it may be dismantled and stowed away in a small custom-made bag.
