In order to obtain a step-up gear for wind-powered electricity generation that is highly reliable and has a long service life while also being compact, lightweight, and low-cost, a step-up gear (50) for wind-powered electricity generation, which is equipped with a planetary gear mechanism (52), is further equipped with a planetary gear (68) that forms one element of the planetary gear mechanism (52), and a carrier (support member) (62) on which the planetary gear (68) is rotatably supported via a roller bearing (76). The construction is such that a space (S1) in which a lubricant can penetrate, and which enables at least two of the three elements, that is, the planetary gear (68), the roller bearing (76), and the carrier (support member) (62), to undergo a minute relative displacement in the radial direction, is formed at any region of the roller bearing (76) other than the region where relative rotation occurs.
