Abstract:
Provided are: a step for vehicles, configured so that a component disposed near the step body can be prevented from being damaged; and a vehicle. A step for vehicles is provided with a step body disposed below a vehicle body and having predetermined lengths in a lateral direction and a depth direction; a step support section for horizontally supporting the step body below the vehicle body by means of a plurality of support posts extending downward from the vehicle body; and an insertion section disposed in the gap between support posts provided at one lateral end of the step body at positions on the near side and far side in the depth direction.
