Abstract:

A stepless speed regulation circuit and a stepless speed regulation method. A stepless speed regulation circuit for a drive motor, comprising: a switch circuit (11), wherein the input end thereof is used for receiving a unidirectionally fluctuating rectified wave signal obtained by full-wave rectification of a sinusoidal alternating current signal, and a motor is coupled between a first output end and a second output end thereof; a synchronizing signal generation circuit (12) used for generating a synchronizing signal according to the sinusoidal alternating current signal; and a switch driving circuit (13) used for selecting at least one switch in the switch circuit according to the state of the synchronizing signal to perform chopping at a second frequency, for forming a sinusoidal envelope chopping signal between the first output end and the second output end, wherein the envelope line of the sinusoidal envelope chopping signal is synchronous with the waveform of the sinusoidal alternating current signal. The stepless speed regulation circuit and method for a motor features a small circuit volume, has a relatively high power factor, and can greatly improve the efficiency of the motor at low speed.
