Abstract:
It is possible to obtain a high rotation accuracy and a high stop accuracy when
driving a stepping motor for lens movement by the 1-2-phase excitation drive
method. In a lens origin position detection process, when a lens holder has reached
the PI position, the stepping motor (4) is stopped in a 2-phase excitation pattern
capable of giving the most stable magnetic force to a magnetization rotor. Accordingly,
even when the lens holder is driven by the 1-2-phase excitation drive method of
the stepping motor (4) of a small diameter, it is possible to always obtain a high
rotation accuracy and a high stop accuracy.
