Abstract:
A stepping motor is disclosed. The stepping motor is configured such that the outermost periphery thereof is formed by an inner yoke and an outer yoke of a stator, to thereby eliminate the necessity of a case serving as a housing and to thus decrease the thickness of the stepping motor by as much as the thickness of a case. Accordingly, the stepping motor of the present invention can employ a stator or a rotor which is larger by as much as the thickness of a case as compared to conventional stepping motors having the same thickness as the thickness of the stepping motor of the present invention, thereby increasing torque. In addition, the inner yoke is integrally formed with a bobbin through injection molding, thereby reducing noise generated during the operation of the stepping motor. Further, the stepping motor of the present invention eliminates the necessity of a separate case to thereby reduce the number of parts, and has the bobbin and the inner yoke integrally formed into a unitary body to simplify assembly processes, resulting in reduced costs.
