Abstract:
This stereoscopic display device 1 comprises: an image display unit 11 that displays an object image, which is projected at an imaging point in a prescribed spatial region, on a block in a display region corresponding to the imaging point for each imaging point in the spatial region; a lens 12 that directs the light exiting from each block of the image display unit 11 in mutually different directions; a light guide plate 13 that includes a plurality of first deflectors 131 provided either on the light emission surface or on the surface facing the light emission surface, each first deflector causing the light exiting from each block and incident onto an incidence surface 13a to exit from the light emission surface 13c in mutually different directions; and a second deflector 14 that for each first deflector directs the light from each block that exits from the light emission surface through the first deflector toward the corresponding imaging point.
