Abstract:
A stereoscopic video processing device (1) comprises: a switch operation detection unit (130) which detects either a 3-D video channel selection operation or a switch operation which is an operation for fast-forward play, rewind play, skipping, or returning to the beginning of a 3-D video, by a user; a frequency determination unit (140) which determines a detection frequency on a unit time basis of the switch operation by the switch operation detection unit (130); and a video processing unit (150) which, if the detection frequency per unit time which the frequency determination unit (140) has determined is greater than or equal to a prescribed frequency, carries out a process for reducing the difference in depth before and after the 3-D switch.
