Abstract:
A stereoscopic vision synthesis device for synthesizing a stereoscopic vision
from a left image obtained by capturing an object from the view point of the user's
left eye and a right image obtained by capturing the object from the view point
of the user's right eye. The device has a shape calculation section for calculating
shape data of the object based on a distance image of the object inputted from a
distance image capture device for capturing a distance image where each pixel
of the image represents a distance, a shape vision space regulation section for
converting the shape date, calculated by the shape calculation section, into
a display space of stereoscopic vision synthesized by the stereoscopic vision
synthesis device, and a shape data output section for outputting the shape data,
subjected to the conversion by the shape vision space regulation section, to
a sensation presentation device.
