Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to provide a sterilization gas cleaning closed system device that enables sterilization with an inexpensive structure. In order to achieve the objective, the sterilization gas cleaning closed system device performs sterilization of a sealed use area with a sterilization gas, and comprises a gas piping connected to the use area through a first opening that is opened or closed by opening or closing a first valve, and a catalyst area connected to the use area through a second opening that is opened or closed by opening or closing a second valve. The sterilization gas is hydrogen peroxide gas. The catalyst area is provided with platinum and palladium as catalysts. At the time of sterilization, the second valve is closed and the first valve is opened to introduce the hydrogen peroxide gas from the gas piping, through the first opening, and into the use area. After introducing the gas, the first valve is closed to bring the use area into a sealed state to perform the sterilization by the hydrogen peroxide gas. After a predetermined duration, the first valve and the second valve are opened to introduce a harmless gas from the gas piping and through the first opening, whereby the hydrogen peroxide gas in the use area, is pushed out therefrom and introduced into the catalyst area, where the hydrogen peroxide gas is cleaned.
